What this platform is

VanRed is an intermediary platform. It puts those who need vehicles in touch with independent transport companies that make up the network.

The rental contract is always between the client and the transport company. VanRed neither charges nor handles the amount corresponding to the vehicle rental. The rental is contracted and paid directly to the member company. VanRed may invoice its own coordination services separately where applicable. There is no payment gateway on this website.

VanRed is not the company providing the rental service for each request; the assigned member company is responsible for the vehicle and for the contract.

Data protection

Purpose: to place your request with the network company covering your area, and to follow up on that introduction.

Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form, and the legitimate interest in managing the relationship.

Recipients: the member company your request is assigned to. Your contact details are not handed over until the request is formally presented to that company. They are not shared with anyone else.

Retention: for as long as the enquiry lasts and the applicable legal periods. You may request erasure at any time.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, by writing to [contact email].

Processor: [Text pending legal review — placeholder] VanRed acts as processor for the data that member companies manage in the application, under the processing agreement signed with each of them (art. 28 GDPR). Each member company is the controller for its own clients and drivers.

Data minimisation: we only ask for the data needed to be able to reply to you.

Export and erasure: every member company can export all of its data and request full erasure at any time.
